Responsibilities: Operate lighting and sound equipment, conceptualize and design sound, lighting and sets, advance all corporate events, handle all video and PowerPoint presentations for five-person theatrical a cappella group in various venues including theLuxor Las Vegas Hotel and Casino (3 month run), New York’s Off-Broadway John Houseman Theatre on 42nd Street (7 month run),Sak Comedy Lab, Universal City Jazz, Pleasure Island Jazz Company, the Lowndes Shakespeare Center and others.

Sak Theatre Company, Inc., Orlando, FL

Position: Technical Director / Vice President, Supervisor: Terry Olson, David Russell
Responsibilities: Improvise lighting and sound for Sak Comedy Lab improvised and scripted shows. Teach Level II Improv class, Technical Improv and advanced student workshops. Write and direct shows for corporate clients. Maintain all lighting and sound equipment used in the Sak Comedy Lab as well as building and maintaining the facilities. Setup and maintain computer network consisting of Macintosh and PC, enabling both platforms to share files. Setup router and hubs for connection to DSL Internet and migrated systems from AppleTalk to Ethernet in new office facilities.

Orlando Fringe Festival, Orlando, FL
Yearly 1994 – 2003
Position: Venue Technician, Supervisor: David Funderburk
Responsibilities: Coordinate technical needs and rehearsals for as many as nine performance groups throughout the ten day festival. Operate lighting, sound, and video equipment for each group (as many as 70 performances during the 10 day festival).

Responsibilities: Maintain all computer systems on the network. Generate purchase orders. Install Peachtree accounting system over network to enable all sales and purchases to be tracked. General filing and answering phones.

Murphy Lighting Systems, Orlando, FL
November 1995 – June 1996
Position: Office Assistant, Supervisor: Gene Murphy – President
Responsibilities: Maintain all computer systems, network and Internet connections running on Windows 95 in both Gainesville and Orlando offices. General office duties including, answering phones, filing, sales tax reports and data entry into Microsoft Excel.

Capone’s Dinner and Show, Kissimmee, FL
August 1994 – August 1995
Position: Lights, Sound and Spotlight Technician, Supervisor: Joe Candelora – Show Director
Responsibilities: Operate all sound and lighting equipment including spotlight for selected shows in dinner theatre. Update and maintain all equipment; lighting instruments, tape players, control boards, etc.
